A literary studies expert, a culture promoter, a translator from Swedish and Norwegian, and an author of articles, anthologies, and interviews, Justyna Czechowska is a founding member of the Polish Literary Translators Association. She has also worked as an international cultural project co-ordinator and a literary agent. She has translated Kristin Berget’s Der ganze Weg, which was incuded in the second European Poet of Freedom contest. She is the winner of the 2018 Wisława Szymborska Award for her translation of Linn Hansén’s Gå till historien. Since 2015, she has been one of the creators of the programme of the Found in Translation festival.
