He graduated in history from the University of Warsaw. He used to work in advertising agencies as a copywriter. He was also an editorial secretary in women’s magazines, hosted satirical radio shows, wrote scripts for television shows about history, and made travel documentaries. He co-founded the drama and comedy company Pożar w Burdelu. He’s the author of the libretto for the musical about general Jozef Bem. His Portret rodziny z czasów wielkości won him a Historic Award from Polityka weekly.
