For families with children aged 5 and over, we have prepared a trip to Italy with the help of Italian children’s literature and theatre. You are welcome to come every day at 11:00 a.m. to the garden of the Sopot Museum to meet the Emperor’s daughter Valentina, Alice who always gets lost, the five misfits, and the fluffy little squishy. Reading books for children by Italian authors have been prepared by Miniatura theatre actors Edyta Janusz-Ehrlich and Jakub Ehrlich. After each reading, they will conduct drama workshops based on the themes of the books. You will learn acting warm-ups, exercise your imagination and, of course, play a role!

Alice is constantly getting lost and falling into all sorts of unexpected places – an inkwell, a ball, a drawer full of dishes, and even into her birthday cake. Gianni Rodari is considered the Italian master of children’s literature, and in 1970 he was honoured with the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen International Prize.
