For families with children aged 5 and over, we have prepared a trip to Italy with the help of Italian children’s literature and theatre. You are welcome to come every day at 11:00 a.m. to the garden of the Sopot Museum to meet the Emperor’s daughter Valentina, Alice who always gets lost, the five misfits, and the fluffy little squishy. Reading books for children by Italian authors have been prepared by Miniatura theatre actors Edyta Janusz-Ehrlich and Jakub Ehrlich. After each reading, they will conduct drama workshops based on the themes of the books. You will learn acting warm-ups, exercise your imagination and, of course, play a role!
Selecting and preparing books and workshops: Agnieszka Kochanowska

It’s Good to Be Unsuccessful
Reading the book The Five Misfits by Beatrice Alemagna translated by Ewa Nicewicz-Staszowska (Dwie Siostry publishing house); workshops.
There were five of them. Five failed ones. The first one – with holes, the second one – folded in half, the third one – flabby, the fourth one – standing on his head. And the fifth? Don’t even ask. A real disaster. What did they do? Well, nothing. They just blew it. One day, out of the blue, an unusual visitor came to them... Beatrice Alemagna is a writer and an illustrator who has won numerous awards, including Premio Andersen and the Bologna Ragazzi awards. The Five Misfits won the Liber Prize for the best Italian book in 2014.
