A film scholar associated with the cinematographic community of Lodz, a cultural activist, and from 2014 to 2019, a lecturer at the University of Lodz (Italian Studies, Film Studies), she has co-organized various film festivals: Letnia Akademia Filmowa in Zwierzyniec, Forum Kina Europejskiego Cinergia in Lodz, Octopus Film Festival in Gdansk, and the Łódzkie Wytwórnia Kultury project (Tradition, Education, Creation).

She has written for Filmweb, Kultura Liberalna, Miesięcznik KINO, Krytyka Polityczna, Czas Kultury, Aktivist, Anywhere, Ekrany, Stopklatka, and Studia Filmoznawcze, as well as contributing to multi-author publications (e.g. the chapter on Italian cinema of the 1980s and 1990s in the new Historia kina, volume IV, published by Universitas). She co-edited the academic publication (with Anna Miller-Klejsa) Kino włoskie po 1980 roku (published by University of Lodz, 2018).

She is also a frequent guest on shows such as Kino mówi in Ale Kino Plus, OFF-Czarek in Tok Fm and Spoilermaster – podcast do słuchania po filmie by Michał Oleszczyk.

The winner of the ‘Kino Mówi’ Award at the 5th Kamera Akcja festival in Lodz (2014) and the Leopold Staff Literary Award (2018) for promoting Italian culture, with particular focus on the cinema. In 2019, she was nominated to the Polish Film Institute Award for film criticism. She won the second prize in the prestigious Krzysztof Mętrak Competition for young film critics (2020) and the audience award at the Ogólnopolski Konkurs Prelegentów Filmowych organized by the Polska Federacja Dyskusyjnych Klubów Filmowych. In 2021, she received a ministerial scholarship in support of her project of making educational podcasts and recordings devoted to Krzysztof Kieślowski and his works (Kieślowski 2.0).

With the editors of the bilingual magazine Gazzetta Italia, she worked in 2020 on the project As long as there is cinema, there is hope / Finché c'è cinema, c'è speranza, which was dedicated to Italian cinematography. She is the artistic director of Hommage a Kieslowski in Sokołowsko and the curator of the local cinema/theatre Zdrowie. Thanks to the support through Patronite.pl, she has in 2021 founded an online educational project Accademia Włoskiego Kina promoting Italian cinematography in Poland. The classes are held in two Polish and Italian.
