An addiction therapy specialist with PhDs in psychology, a columnist, and a writer, she has written Sekrety kobiet, Rak duszy: o alkoholizmie, Podnieś głowę, W zgodzie ze sobą, Bo jesteś człowiekiem: żyć z depresją, ale nie w depresji, Żal po stracie. Since 1989, she has been involved in training addiction specialists in Eastern Europe and Central Asia through the Batory Foundation. She is actively involved in the Women’s Congress. She is a member of the Programme Council of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights and the Fundacja ABC XXI Cała Polska czyta dzieciom.
