A writer, a musician, and a photographer, he composes music for films and plays. For years, he played in bands Pustki and Indigo Tree. He was shortlisted for the 2020 Nike Literary Award for his novel Rozdeptałem czarnego kota przez przypadek, and nominated for the Gdynia Literary Prize for Psy pociągowe (2012) and Pod słońce było (2015) and the Wrocław Poetry Award Silesius for Trzy ścieżki nad jednej rzeką sumują się (2015). In March, his latest novel Zbyt wiele zim minęło, żeby była wiosna was published.
