He was born in 1982 in Koło. The author of Dygot, Rust, Horyzont and other books, he was longlisted for the Nike Literary Award, the Angelus Central European Literature Award, the Stanisław Barańczak Award, and the Empik Discovery Award, he received the ‘Młoda Polska’ scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for young creators and the Albrecht Lempp Polish-German scholarship. Horyzont was awarded the title of the 2019 book of the year by KSIĄŻKI literary magazine. His books are currently being translated into German, Russian, Dutch, Finnish, Slovenian, Macedonian, and Hebrew. Bodo Kox is going to direct a film based on Horyzont.
