Born deaf, Polish Sign Language (PJM) is his mother tongue (first language). His whole family is deaf – from his grandparents to uncles and siblings.

He is known for his exceptionally advanced, artistic signing, as well as for his signed poetry and picture signing. He has won many awards for acting and sign language arts, including the first prize and the audience award at the festival of signed poetry in Cracow (2014). He is currently playing in Jeden gest (directed by Wojtek Ziemilski), and Opera dla Głuchych, in  which he is also responsible for the libretto in PJM (directed by Wojtek Zrałek-Kossakowski). He is involved in the cultural activities undertaken in the Mazovian branch of the Polish Association of the Deaf, where he has published 26 pieces of sign language poetry, translated Polish literature with the assistance of a co-interpreter, as well as acting and miming.
