She has translated into Italian most of Christa Wolf’s works, Franz Kafka’s The Trial, Georg Büchner’s The Death of Danton, as well as texts by Jakob and Wilhelm Grimm, Ingeborg Bachmann, Bertolt Brecht, Irmtraud Morgner, and Helga Königsdorf. She has published articles and essays on Italian and German literature, and challenges involved in the process of translation. In 2007, she received the Italian-German prize for literary translations awarded by the German ministry of foreign affairs in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut.
