A theologian and a columnist working for Tygodnik Powszechny, she is involved in the Catholic feminist movement and has published Kościół kobiet and Emancypantki. Kobiety, które zbudowały Kościół. She is the vice-president of Forum Dialogu, an organization dealing with the Polish-Jewish dialogue.
